Socially conscious and fiercely independent, I have enjoyed seeing my talented team of female co-workers grow in confidence and ability. I’ve always enjoyed working with local artisans and independent makers, working together as a team to build firm and mutually beneficial relationships. Bringing up two children whilst managing a business (and in case you were wondering, I didn’t have a nanny) was often challenging but always rewarding. It has kept me focused and determined and hopefully made me softer round the edges!
LDF- Stoff Studios Mono Printing Takeover
To celebrate this year’s London Design Festival, Stoff Studios have created a limited edition, screen printed poster based on the newest design to join their Souvenir collection; Pilgrim.
Stoff Studios are a design duo, consisting of Carys Briggs, a textile designer who trained at both the Royal College of Art and Central St Martins, and Andrew Mason, a furniture maker who studied Sculpture at Camberwell College. Stoff Studios design and hand screen print wallpaper, fabrics and cushions in their studio in south east London.
The Pilgrim print was created using traditional mono printing techniques, drawing directly onto ink covered wooden blocks. On Monday 14th September the processes involved in creating the poster will be documented and run as an IG Stories takeover on @Wolfandbadger.
Exclusively available at Wolf and Badger these will be available in two colour ways and will be signed and numbered.
Poster measures 420mm x 59.4mm (A2) and is printed in our London studio using water-based inks onto G F Smith paper stock.
